At Renewable Network ("we," "us," or "our"), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return products purchased on our marketplace and how refunds are processed. By placing an order, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.
- All tags, labels, accessories, manuals, and warranty cards are intact and included.
- You have a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice).
- The return request is initiated through your Renewable Network account or by contacting our support team.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom solar installations: Solar panel systems that have been custom-designed, configured, or installed for your specific property.
- Opened consumables: Batteries, cleaning solutions, sealants, and other consumable products that have been opened or partially used.
- Personalized or made-to-order products: Items manufactured or customized to your specifications.
- Items damaged by the buyer: Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or neglect after delivery.
- Gift cards and vouchers: Digital or physical gift cards are non-refundable.
3. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
- For UPI and net banking payments, refunds typically reflect within 3-5 business days after processing.
- For credit/debit card payments, refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
- Shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:
- Your order number and a description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the damaged or defective product and its packaging.
- Photographs of the shipping label if the outer packaging is damaged.
We will arrange a free return pickup and provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost. For solar panels and heavy equipment, our logistics team will coordinate the return directly.
5. Exchange Policy
We offer exchanges for items of equal or greater value, subject to availability. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return and place a new order for the desired product. Price differences for higher-value exchanges will be charged to your original payment method. Price differences for lower-value exchanges will be refunded.
6. Seller-Specific Policies
Renewable Network is a marketplace hosting multiple sellers. Some sellers may have their own return and refund policies that differ from this general policy:
- Seller-specific return windows may be shorter or longer than 7 days.
- Certain sellers may offer store credit instead of monetary refunds.
- Installation services may have separate cancellation and refund terms.
Always check the seller's return policy on the product page before making a purchase. In case of disputes, Renewable Network will mediate between the buyer and seller to reach a fair resolution.
7. Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order before it has been shipped:
- Orders cancelled before dispatch will receive a full refund within 3-5 business days.
- Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process described above.
- For custom or made-to-order items, cancellation is only possible within 24 hours of placing the order.
